LONDON (ICIS news)--Bayer has appointed Sandra Peterson as chairman of the board of management of its CropScience division, the German chemical giant said on Tuesday.
The group’s supervisory board chose Peterson to replace the current chairman, Friedrich Berschauer, who is set to retire, effective from 1 October 2010.
"Sandra Peterson has been a successful division head in the Bayer Group for the past five years… We are therefore convinced that she has the right profile to successfully lead the CropScience business," said Werner Wenning, chairman of the Bayer board of management.
Alan Main will succeed Paterson as a member of the Bayer HealthCare executive committee and as head of the medical care division. Main is currently head of the ?xml:namespace>
