HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Ferro will expand its photovoltaic (PV) technology centres in Suzhou, China, and Taipei, Taiwan, the US producer said on Tuesday.
Both labs will be capable of building prototype solar cells, Ferro said. The expansions should be completed by the end of the year.
In addition, Ferro said it had commissioned space in Singapore to open a technology centre focused on developing the company’s solar materials product line.
Financial details of the expansions were not disclosed.
