ST LOUIS, Missouri (ICIS news)--US weekly fuel ethanol inventories rose by 1% to 18.5m bbl (777m gal) in the week ended 11 June, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.

US ethanol production last week was steady, averaging 839,000 bbl/day. That figure would put total output for the month of June at 1.06bn gal.

The US produced 1.10bn gal of ethanol in March, the last month for which data was available.

No ethanol imports were recorded last week.

The EIA releases fuel ethanol data on production, stocks and imports every Wednesday.
