Korea’s YNCC seeks 50,000t naphtha for H2 July

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--South Korea's Yeochun Naphtha Cracking Center (YNCC) tendered to buy 50,000 tonnes of naphtha for delivery in the second half of July, traders said on Monday.

The tender closes later on Monday, they said.

YNCC restarted its newly expanded 465,000 tonne/year No 3 naphtha cracker on 16 June.

YNCC, which operates three naphtha crackers in the country, is the largest ethylene producer in South Korea. It runs an 857,000 tonne/year No 1 cracker and a 578,000 tonne/year No 2 cracker at the same site.
