SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Malaysia’s Titan Chemicals Corp plans to shut its 435,000 tonne/year No 2 naphtha cracker in Pasir Gudang, Johor state, for a turnaround in October, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.
“The plan is to shut the cracker from 1 to 31 October,” he said.
There were no maintenance plans this year for the company’s 285,000 tonne/year No 1 naphtha cracker, which is located at the same site, he added.
