HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US styrene monomer (SM) producer INEOS NOVA plans to bring its Sarnia plant in Ontario, Canada, offline for maintenance in September, a company representative said on Tuesday.
The plant would be down “for a couple of weeks” in the middle of the month, the source said. No specific start date was set yet.
INEOS NOVA’s Sarnia SM plant has an estimated nameplate capacity of 430,000 tonnes/year. The company also operates US SM plants in Bayport and Texas City, both in Texas.
