SK Energy restarts Ulsan benzene reformer after maintenance

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korean aromatics major SK Energy restarted its 10,000 tonne/month benzene reformer in Ulsan earlier this week after scheduled maintenance, said a company source on Friday.

The unit, which was taken offline late in June, was restarted on 25 July.

The facility was expected to reach a production level of 100% in the coming days, the source added.

Other key aromatics producers in South Korea include Honam Petrochemical and GS Caltex.
