SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s CPC Corp shut its 500,000 tonne/year No 5 cracker in Kaohsiung on Sunday due to flooding caused by typhoon Fanapi, a company official said on Monday.

The outage may last two to three days, the official said in Mandarin, but said that there was no damage to the plant.
