SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Pertamina is running its 105,000 tonne/year benzene plant at Cilacap, Indonesia, at 100% capacity after restarting the unit two weeks ago, a company source said on Friday.

The plant was restarted last month following a turnaround that began in mid-July, the source added.

Pertamina is selling most of the benzene produced to contractual customers within Indonesia, he said.

Other benzene producers in southeast Asia include ExxonMobil in  Singapore’s, PCS and Shell.
