HOUSTON (ICIS)--US fuel ethanol inventories rose slightly in the week ended 22 October, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.
Ethanol stocks last week climbed by 1.9% from a week earlier to 16.3m bbl (685m gal), the EIA said in a weekly report.
US ethanol production last week averaged 880,000 bbl/day, largely steady from 881,000 bbl/day a week before.
Ethanol production in September averaged 855,500 bbl/day, up from 854,000 bbl/day in August, according to EIA data.
