LONDON (ICIS)--An initial European December propylene (C3) settlement has been agreed up by €22/tonne ($29/tonne) at €960/tonne, a major producer said on Friday.
An increase had been widely expected because of upstream cost pressures which had squeezed cracker margins.
The settlement, done on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis, had still to be confirmed by the buyer, a major net consumer.
($1 = €0.75)
