HOUSTON (ICIS)--Odfjell will build a $37m (€28m) tank terminal in Charleston, South Carolina, the Norwegian shipping company said on Tuesday.
Construction of the tank terminal will start this month, and operations should start by early 2013, Odfjell said. The terminal would create 12-20 jobs.
The tank terminal will have 40 tanks with access to deep-draft marine, rail and truck, the company said.
“This will be a great supplement to our existing terminal in Houston and our worldwide tank terminal network,” said Dave Ellis, president of Odfjell Terminals in Houston.
