LONDON (ICIS)--Praxair Rus has signed a contract to supply oxygen, nitrogen and argon to Russian steel company NTMK, the company said on Wednesday.
Praxair’s Russian subsidiary will build new air separation plants and will supply more than 3,000 tonnes/day of industrial gases to NTMK at its ?xml:namespace>
The new plants were scheduled to start up in late 2013 and would replace older air separation plants. They would produce liquid products for the local market.
No financial details of the deal were disclosed.
NTMK’s parent company Evraz Group is a large vertically-integrated steel, mining and vanadium business with operations in Russia, Ukraine, Europe, US, Canada and South Africa.
