SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) restarted its 350,000 tonne/year crude methyl di-p-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) plant in ?xml:namespace>
The plant was taken off line at the end of November for annual maintenance.
BMS officials could not be reached for comment.
“The plant will…lower its operating rates to 60% as the Lunar New Year draws in, since demand will slow down significantly,” said a key southern China-based buyer.
