MOVES: Canada’s NOVA Chemicals names vice president for PE

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Canada’s NOVA Chemicals promoted Chris Bezaire to the new role of senior vice president for polyethylene (PE), the company said on Thursday.

Bezaire joined NOVA in 1994 and has broad experience in sales, marketing, manufacturing and corporate leadership, the company said. The new position will be responsible for the financial performance of the PE business.

NOVA also appointed John Siegrist to vice president of sales and John Hotz to vice president of corporate strategy.

Siegrist will be responsible for North American PE sales, as well as overseeing export sales and customer service.

Meanwhile, Hotz will oversee corporate development strategy, including initiatives in the olefins and PE businesses, NOVA said.

NOVA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi’s International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC).
