HOUSTON (ICIS)--US fourth-quarter butadiene (BD) production was 793m lb (360,000 tonnes), a 10% decline from 884m lb one year earlier, the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association (NPRA) said on Friday.
BD production in the fourth quarter fell by 13% compared with 911m lb in the third quarter, the group said.
US BD inventories in the fourth quarter were at 99m lb, dropping by 30% from 141m lb in the second quarter, while falling by 30% from 141m lb in the same period one year earlier.
