Taiwan’s FCFC to restart phenol/acetone plant in mid-April

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation (FCFC) plans to resume operations at its phenol/acetone plant in Mailiao in mid-April after a regular turnaround that started on 1 March, a company source said on Thursday.

The plant would restart on 12-13 April, with output expected from 15 April onwards, he added.

FCFC has two phenol/acetone lines, each with a capacity of 200,000 tonnes/year of phenol and 123,000 tonnes/year of acetone.
