SAN ANTONIO, Texas (ICIS)--Porous Media Corp expects to complete its project with Malaysia’s state-owned oil and gas firm Petronas by October, a company official said on Monday.
The US water filtration firm secured the contract worth about $6m early this year to provide advanced separation system for Petronas’ gas processing facility at Terengganu in Malaysia, said Porous Media technical director Mohammad Farooq on the sidelines of the International Petrochemical Conference (IPC).
Porous Media is also working on a contract with Singapore-based Hyflux on a project in Salalah, Oman, Farooq said.
Minnesota-based Porous Media is a unit of technology company Pentair.
Hosted by the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association (NPRA), the IPC continues through Tuesday.
