South Korea’s LG Chem buys 50,000 tonnes spot naphtha

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s LG Chem has bought via tender 50,000 tonnes of open spec naphtha for delivery in the first half of May, traders said on Thursday.

The cargoes fetched a premium of $7/tonne to Japan quotes CFR (cost and freight), they added.

One 25,000 tonne cargo would head to Daesan and another similar stem would go to Yeosu, traders said.
