HOUSTON (ICIS)--US February exports of mixtures of methyl di-p-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) totalled 1,219 tonnes, dropping by 22% from 1,563 tonnes during the same month a year earlier, but increasing by 1% from 1,207 tonnes the previous month, according to US International Trade Commission (ITC) data released on Tuesday.
From January through February, MDI exports had increased by 3% to 2,426 tonnes, compared with 2,351 tonnes in the first two months of last year, according to the ITC.
The year-on-year increase was because of greater volumes shipped to ?xml:namespace>

US MDI suppliers include Bayer MaterialScience, BASF and Dow Chemical.
