China’s Land Fine Petrochemical starts up PBR plant in June-July

GUANGZHOU (ICIS)--Xinjiang Land Fine Petrochemical is expected to start up its new 50,000 tonne/year polybutadiene rubber (PBR) plant in northwest China in June or July, a company source said on Thursday.

“Constructions have almost completed,” the source said, adding that the company started building the plant in April this year.

Land Fine Petrochemical, based at Karamay in Xinjiang, China, engages in production and sales of lubricants, fine chemicals, chemical and plastic materials.

Among the company's eight shareholders is Xinjiang TianLi High & New Tech, a major producer of adipic acid.
