LONDON (ICIS)--Zaklady Azotowe Pulawy (ZAP) has struck a deal to supply fellow Polish company Djchem Chemicals Poland with hydrogen peroxide, ZAP said on Tuesday.
ZAP is the only hydrogen peroxide producer in ?xml:namespace>
Djchem requires hydrogen peroxide to fully neutralise its industrial wastewaters using a wastewater treatment system based on Fenton’s Reaction, ZAP said.
ZAP, which operates a 10,000 tonne/year hydrogen peroxide unit, described the deal with Djchem as “long-term” but declined to disclose financial details of the contract.
Djchem is also a large producer of diethylhydroxylamine (DEHA), a compound which can be used for a variety of applications such as as a polymerisation inhibitor in the production of synthetic rubber, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and acryl polymers.
