LONDON (ICIS)--An initial European toluene contract for June has been agreed at $1,105/tonne (€762/tonne), down $65-85/tonne from the previous month, according to one seller on Wednesday.
The contract was agreed on a free on board (FOB) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
The seller said that the drop was due to a realignment with falling energy prices, with gasoline and benzene both down compared with last month.
Further confirmation from other players is pending.
