LONDON (ICIS)--Yara has renewed a distribution deal with Brenntag for urea-based diesel emissions fluid AdBlue, the Norwegian international fertilizer major said on Tuesday.

“With the renewal of this agreement, we are confident to have the right set-up in place to meet the demands of this growing market, which now already feeds over 1m vehicles in Europe alone,” said Rolf Isberg, Yara’s head of global business for Air1.
Yara did not disclose how long the deal will run, or what its volume and financial terms are.
AdBlue transforms harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from heavy-duty diesel-powered vehicles and trucks into water vapour and nitrogen.
Yara sells AdBlue worldwide, including
European AdBlue producers include Yara, BASF, Borealis and Poland's Zaklady Azotowe Pulawy (ZAP), among others.
