Hungary's April industrial production of chemicals up 19.2%

LONDON (ICIS)--Hungary's industrial production volume of chemicals and chemical products in April rose by 19.2% year on year, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Wednesday.    

A 15.5% rise for rubber and plastics products and other non-metallic mineral products was also recorded, it added.

Overall, Hungary's April industrial production volume was up by 7.1% from the same month last year, KSH said.

Industrial export sales grew 14.7% in the first four months of 2011 and 7.6% in April, compared with the same respective periods in 2010, the KSH said.
