SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thai MMA is planning to shut its two 90,000 tonne/year methyl methacrylate (MMA) lines in Map Ta Phut for a 10-day turnaround, a company source said on Thursday.
Its No 1 MMA line will be taken off line for 10 days in late August, said the source.
Its No 2 MMA line will be taken off line for 10 days in December, but the final dates have not been fixed, said the source.
In the meantime, the lines will be run at 95% capacity.
Thai MMA is a joint venture between Japan’s Mitsubishi Rayon Co (MRC) and Thailand’s Siam Cement Group (SCG).
