LONDON (ICIS)--An initial third quarter European methanol contract price has been agreed down by €10/tonne at €295/tonne ($415/tonne) between a buyer and a seller, the two parties said on Friday. 

The sources indicated another buyer and another seller had also agreed to follow, confirmation of which is pending. The settlement was agreed on a free on board (FOB) Rotterdam basis.
