LONDON (ICIS)--The third European styrene barge contract for August has been agreed at €1,250/tonne ($1,812/tonne), up €126/tonne from the previous month, the buyer and the seller confirmed on Monday.

The increase was expected given the similar upwards movement on benzene, and was in line with the other two barge settlements agreed earlier on Monday.

The settlement was made on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
