South Korea’s Daesan MMA to shut PMMA plant on 12 August

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Daesan MMA is expected to shut its 50,000 tonne/year polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) plant at Yeosu on 12 August for two weeks, a company source said on Thursday.

The plant will be taken off line for a scheduled turnaround.

Daesan MMA is a joint venture between Japan’s Mitsubishi Rayon and South Korea’s Honam Petrochemical.
