HOUSTON (ICIS)--Unigel plans to place its Coatzacalcos acrylonitrile (ACN) complex in Veracruz, Mexico, into turnaround on Saturday, the company said on Friday.

The planned turnaround is scheduled to last until 29 August, Brazil-based Unigel said.

The plant has a nameplate capacity of 60,000 tonnes/year, according to ICIS plants and projects.

The shutdown will also force the company to close down its 24,000 tonne/year methyl methacrylate (MMA) line at the facility.
