SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Fujia Dahua is still currently running its 700,000 tonne/year paraxylene (PX) plant at Dalian, a day after residents in the surrounding areas demanded the shutdown of the company's aromatics complex over pollution concerns, a company official said on Monday.
“We are still negotiating with the local government on how we are going to handle this issue. Discussions are in the early stages,” said the official.
