HOUSTON (ICIS)--US propylene production in July totalled 995m lb (451,300 tonnes), a 4.2% increase from 955m lb produced in the same month in 2010, consulting firm Jacobs Consultancy said on Wednesday.
Propylene production in July – measured on a daily rate – rose by 2.4% compared with June, the group said in its monthly Hodson report.
US crackers operated at 93.6% of capacity in July, rising from 91.4% in June and from 90.1% in July 2010, the report showed.
