GUANGZHOU (ICIS)--China’s Fuxiang Chemical will start up its new 100,000 tonne/year styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) unit at Quanzhou in Fujian province on 1 September after several delays, a company source said on Monday.
The start-up, originally scheduled for late last year, had been delayed several times because of technical issues, the source said.
The latest start-up was set for 25 August but this had to be postponed again because of problems with equipment, the source added.
The facility will be the first SBR unit in Fujian province.
