Iran's Pars Petrochemical shuts down SM unit on mechanical woes

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Pars Petrochemical’s 600,000 tonne/year styrene monomer (SM) unit in
“The unit is expected to restart at the end of September,” the source said.
The outage will not affect supply contracts for September, given the ample inventory. However, there may be some delay for October cargoes, the source added.
