SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Dushanzi Petrochemical will restart its 1m tonne/year ethylene cracker and derivative polyolefin plants in Dushanzi in late September and October following shutdowns at the plants on 8 August, a company source said on Friday.
In addition, the company will restart its 300,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) unit, 600,000 tonne/year linear low density PE (LLDPE)/HDPE swing plant, 300,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant and 250,000 tonne/year PP unit at the same site during this period, the source said.
The producer shut its 220,000 tonne/year ethylene cracker for maintenance on 12 August and will restart it during ?xml:namespace>
Dushanzi Petrochemical will restart its 100,000 tonne/year HDPE unit, 120,000 tonne/year LLDPE and 140,000 tonne/year PP plant at the same site during the holiday period. The company shut the units on 12 August.
