SINGAPORE (ICIS)--German industrial gases firm Linde Group said on Friday its operating profit for the nine-month period ending 30 September 2011 increased by 10.2% year on year to €2.36bn ($3.37bn), with sales rising by 8.5%.
Sales increased to €10.2bn from €9.41bn in the same period last year, the company said in a statement.
Operating margins for January-September 2011 increased to 23.1% from 22.8% in the previous corresponding period, Linde said.
“The group still assumes that it will be able to achieve a higher level of group sales and group operating profit in the 2011 financial year than in 2010,” Linde said.
