Second Europe Nov styrene barge CP confirmed at €1,108/tonne

LONDON (ICIS)--The second European styrene barge contract for November has been confirmed at €1,108/tonne ($1,539/tonne), down by €25/tonne from the previous month, the buyer and seller confirmed on Tuesday.

While the feedstock reductions this month would have ordinarily meant a decrease for styrene closer to €40/tonne, the supplier said that this was mitigated by the current tightness for prompt cargo.

The settlement was made on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
