Iran's Zagros to restart 1.65m tonne/year methanol unit in end-Nov

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Iran’s Zagros Petrochemical Co (ZPC) is planning to restart Zagros I, one of its two 1.65m tonne/year methanol plants at Asaluyeh at the end of November, a source said on Friday.

The Zagros I plant has been shut since 2 October for a catalyst change.

Zagros II is running at 95% of capacity, she added.

Other major methanol producers in the region include Saudi Arabia’s SABIC and Oman Methanol.
