Ukraine January-October urea exports up by 32.5%

MOSCOW (ICIS)--Ukraine's total urea exports reached 2.87m tonnes between January and October 2011, up by 32.5% year on year, the country's statistical agency said on Wednesday.

In terms of value, the urea exports were worth $1.04bn, up from $514m (€386m) in the first 10 months of 2010, according to data from the statistical agency.

Ukraine's major urea producers are Azot Cherkasy, Azot Severodonetsk, Stirol, DneproAzot and Odessa Port Plant.
