China’s Changle Lifeng starts building polyester project in Hubei

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Changle Lifeng Textile has started building a 400,000 tonne/year polyester project at Huangshi in Hubei, a company source said on Wednesday.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on 18 December, the source said.

The yuan (CNY) 2.6bn ($410m) polyester project is being built in two phases, the source added.

The first phase of the project will require an investment of CNY1.6bn, the source added without disclosing its exact capacity.
