SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Yangzi Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Sinopec, plans to shut down its 400,000 tonne/year No 1 naphtha cracker at Nanjing in Jiangsu for scheduled maintenance in July, a company source said on Friday.
“The bigger cracker will be shut in July for one to two months based on our initial plan,” the source said.
The smaller No 2 cracker with a capacity of 250,000 tonne/year will still run normally during the same period, the source added.
