Poland's Synthos orders C4 from Romania's Energy Bio Chemicals

LONDON (ICIS)--Synthetic rubber producer Synthos has contracted to purchase C4 fraction with an expected value of zlotych (Zl) 300m ($89m, €68m) from Romania's Energy Bio Chemicals, the Polish company said on Wednesday.

The C4 would be delivered between 1 January 2012 and 31 December 2014, it added.

Synthos, which has production units in the Czech Republic and Poland, is Europe's second largest producer of synthetic rubber.

($1 = Zl 3.37, €1 = Zl 4.40)
