Indonesia’s Justus to shut MA plant in September for maintenance

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indonesia’s Justus Sakti Raya Corp is planning to shut its 14,000 tonne/year maleic anhydride (MA) plant in Jakarta in September for a turnaround, a company source said on Thursday.

The firm will shut the unit for three to four weeks for maintenance, the source added.

Other MA producers in the region include Taiwan’s UPC Technology, Japan’s Nippon Shokubai and South Korea’s Yongsan Chemicals.
