LONDON (ICIS)--Netherlands-based DSM has signed an agreement with distribution company Resinet to strengthen its presence in Brazil, the specialty chemicals company said on Monday.
“In order to tap fully into Brazilian potential, DSM sees a solid partnership with distributors as key for sustainable growth. Resinet has been selected to represent and help accelerate the growth of the DSM engineering plastics product portfolio in Brazil throughout the automotive, electrical and electronics, and general industries,” DSM said.
Resinet focuses on the raw materials distribution market in Brazil, it added.
“This agreement will help expand the DSM product line in the Brazilian market using Resinet’s technical expertise and sales force,” said Antonio Celso Ferraz, commercial director of Resinet.
Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Last week, DSM expanded its agreement with Dutch specialty chemicals distributor IMCD to widen its distribution in Europe.
