ExxonMobil begins planned turnaround at Texas cracker

HOUSTON (ICIS)--ExxonMobil has begun a planned turnaround at its Baytown olefins complex in Texas, the company said on Thursday.

Maintenance started on Wednesday, a company spokesperson said.

ExxonMobil has two crackers at the site with a combined ethylene capacity of 2.2m tonnes/year.

The company said the turnaround would last two months and involved only one of the units at the site.
