India’s Reliance to expand Dahej PVC plant by Q3 2013

NEW DELHI (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>India’s Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is planning to expand its 245,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant in Dahej to 345,000 tonnes/year by the third quarter of 2013, a company source said on Sunday.
In addition, RIL is considering building another PVC plant in India, but has not made specific decisions, the source said at the sidelines of the PlastIndia exhibition, which ends on 6 February.
The producer’s existing PVC facilities comprise a 60,000 tonne/year unit in Vadodara and a 325,000 tonne/year plant in Hazira.
