US glycol ether exports increased to 194,850 tonnes from 186,366 tonnes in 2010.
Exports of glycol ethers increased last year primarily as a result of increased demand for solvents in Asia.
Exports in December increased to 20,024 tonnes, from 14,379 tonnes in December 2010, the ITC said.
December exports also rose from 13,595 tonnes in November 2011.
The biggest destinations for US glycol ethers were China at 51,895 tonnes, Korea at 28,910 tonnes, Taiwan at 27,469 tonnes and Belgium at 21,076 tonnes.
Other destinations included United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Colombia, India, Brazil and Spain.
