EU FEBRUARY MDI CONTRACT PRICES FIRM
European methyl di-p-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) monthly contract prices have firmed in February. Crude MDI was assessed €50/tonne ($67/tonne) up from January at €1,900-2,000/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (Northwest Europe), and pure MDI up ­€25-50/tonne at €1,950-2,050/tonne FD NWE.

EU FEBRUARY POLYOLS UP ON COSTS, MARGINS
European polyol contract prices rose on costs and margin pressure. For standard flexible polyols, price increases were €40-70/tonne ($53-93/tonne), taking values to €1,750-1,850/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (Northwest Europe). Slabstock conventional flexible polyol prices were mainly €1,750-1,850/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE. This represents an increase of €40-70/tonne from January.

EU TDI FIRM IN FEBRUARY
European toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) contract prices for February were assessed at €1,800-1,940/tonne ($2,363-2,547) FD (free delivered) NWE (Northwest Europe), an increase of €40-60/tonne from January.

US JANUARY ACN UP ON FEEDSTOCK COSTS
January formula-based US Gulf contract prices for acrylonitrile (ACN) were 106.66-110.34 cents/lb DEL (delivered), up from the December price range of 91.87-96.01 cents/lb. The formula resulted in export material FOB (free on board) at a price range of 80.29-81.87 cents/lb up from 74.50-77.45 cents/lb.

EU BPA UP €130/TONNE
European February bisphenol A (BPA) contract prices have increased by €130/tonne ($173/tonne) to €1,580-1,650/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (Northwest Europe).
