China’s Stanley Fertilizer 2011 net profit up 41% at $39m

SINGAPORE (ICIS)–China’s Stanley Fertilizer on Wednesday reported a 40.7% year-on-year rise in its 2011 net profit to (CNY) 247m ($39.2m) on the back of strong sales and production volumes.

The firm’s sales rose by 57.6% year on year to CNY4.57bn in the full year of 2011, the company said in a statement posted on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

China’s Stanley Fertilizer is a major compound fertilizer producer in China and is based in Shandong province.

The company did not disclose its earnings for the fourth quarter of last year.
