SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s SK Chemicals will restart its polyethylene terephthalate (PET) lines in mid-March after a month-long turnaround, a company source said on Friday.

It shut its 70,000 tonne/year and 50,000 tonne/year PET lines in the middle of February for planned maintenance.

The company is currently operating a 70,000 tonne/year unit at 100% and mainly focusing on selling into the domestic market, the source added.
